Nicole Vella, Sara Boo

"This was a collaborative project. Sara Boo developed the audio while I developed a visual; independently from each other (pandemic remote life). We then worked together as I bounced edits back and forth with them until we hit the right mix of sonic atmosphere and visual mood. Visually, what you are seeing are two circles, comprised of 123 points each. Each point on the inner circle is connected with its matching point on the outer circle. Two circles connected by 123 vertices. These vertices are animated over time by OpenSimplexNoise. Certain frequencies from the audio will cause the vertices to move in the directions xy, xz, yz, or xyz where X = left/right, Y = up/down, and Z = toward/away from the viewport.
