Light Paint

For as long as humans have existed, so has light. Thus there is an innate connection between the two. However, light requires no physical medium, and it is merely the carriage of energy though electromagnetic fields, a small fragment of which is visible to the human eye. Light Paint attempts to materialize light and investigate the relationship between humans through the lens of interactive light installations. Such reactive, light-focused installations offer a robust sensory experience in which the participants can co-exist and co-create with light. The goal is to create a symbiotic ecosystem where within the installation neither the light nor the participant can exist without the other. As an installation piece, Light Paint aims to create a space for solace and reflection.
