For this piece, I added a lot of elements for the topic of “anonymity” I created a cage effect on the face, indicates the figure is empty from the inside with no “self”. Mushrooms are connected underground by their hypha, can span through a forest as one living thing. They grow out from her head indicating she is just a part of a larger society with no self-identity. The other head coming out from her face describes when she is trying to be someone else. The mask also indicates her different fake persona while interacting with others.
