Greetings, aspiring wizard. You have been transported to this hall because your application of interest to the Arcane Academy has been acknowledged. Your surprise entrance exam will now commence. Before you are four doorways which lead to the four elemental domains. You must enter each domain and retrieve the mana orbs scattered in each biome. Every domain will test your attunement to the four primary elements. Use wisdom, wit and discernment to successfully complete your trials. Choose a domain to start by walking through a portal. May the arcane light your path.” Elementary: Entrance Exam is a VR puzzle platformer game played on the Oculus Quest 2. In the game, the player must pass the entrance exam to Arcane Academy by transporting to fantasy realms and traversing dangerous levels with powerful spells to find all the magical orbs. This demo is a vertical slice of the overall game concept, where you explore the fire level with the use of a jet flame spell. It was completed as a part of a VR Game Design Independent Study by Ryan Boyd, under the supervision of Professor Emma Westecott.
