"Pavilion 001 is a dynamic, organic structure which creates an interacting atmosphere for people and nature communicating. The curvilinear has a few concaves up and down which form three sections. The left “dome” part is a semi-enclosed shelter which not only protects people from weather conditions but also sets up a public “private space”. The middle peak section is a thin and narrow structure connecting the two sides while also playing as a threshold. The right part is a continuity and extension from the peak to provide seating area. Overall, Pavilion 001 aims to welcome people to enjoy interactions and nature with a light, active and diverse environment."
