High Frequency Output

‘High Frequency Output’ is a process developed by my mentor internetVin. Along with myself, Vin was also fascinated with repetition. He started his process during a year of depression, something that I could relate very closely to. Vin told me that a High Frequency Output project offered him a way to beat his depression through working. I was so inspired by this man, and we thought so similarly about everything that I decided to give it a shot. For my creative process, and attempt to improve my mental health, I created a new design daily, and then wrote a reflection of my day, seeing what factors played a role in the creation of these designs. Along with this digital diary, I also created a data visualization, to illustrate how many days throughout the project each emotion was felt. These were a visual indicator for a steady incline of more positive emotions as I continued to create. This analysis provided input into how high-frequency output can affect someone’s life
