‘Iso’world’ is a virtual exhibition that explores themes of iso- lation, social distancing, and awareness through the lives of the Jarawa people. The exhibition involves the use of a virtual room containing art, video, and music that support the theme of isolation. The Jawara are indigenous people of the Andaman Islands in India who are said to have migrated from Africa 55,000 years ago. They have refused contact from outsiders expressing their content in their environment. The Jarawa face many threats from outsiders who hunt their wildlife, reducing the food supply for them. Tourists visit their territories treating it like a human zoo and giving them drugs, alcohol, and unwanted artifacts from the modern world.
